At the Europe Peace Foundation, we are deeply saddened and concerned by the ongoing violence between Israel and Palestine. The loss of innocent lives, including children, is heartbreaking and unacceptable. We urge all parties involved to exercise restraint and work towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

It is essential that both sides respect the right to life and avoid any actions that could further escalate the situation. As an organization committed to peace and nonviolence, we strongly condemn the use of violence against civilians.

I am also deeply concerned about the impact of the violence on the humanitarian situation in Gaza, which is already facing significant challenges due to the Israeli blockade. It is crucial that Israel allows the delivery of essential humanitarian aid to Gaza and takes all necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.

I support the efforts of regional actors, including Egypt, to mediate a ceasefire and bring an end to the violence. All parties involved must engage in meaningful dialogue to address the root causes of the conflict and work towards a peaceful and sustainable solution.

As a member of the Europe Peace Foundation, I reiterate our call for an immediate end to the violence and for all parties to respect international law and human rights. I urge the international community to take swift action to address the humanitarian situation in Gaza and support efforts to bring an end to the conflict. Together, we can work towards a more peaceful and just future for all.
