Over the New Years’ holiday recent attacks on Russia by Ukraine have left many military men dead or wounded. This has been reported as one of the deadliest attacks on Russia.
The death toll has increased in the past few days.
Many expect a violent retaliation to come from Russia in the coming days.
With the continued back and forth, human suffering and death will continue to escalate.
The destruction of homes has made Ukraine one of the largest humanitarian crisis in decades and the second-largest refugee crisis after Syria.
Without a serious call to peace, the crisis will only worsen.
We at the Europe Peace Foundation call on international leaders to end this warfare and protect civilian lives.
