For 12 years now the Syrian people have lived under a brutal regime.
90 percent of the population lives below the poverty line due to a disastrous economy and harsh blockades placed on the country by countries like the United States.
When the brutal regime took power many protestors fought for justice but they were destroyed.
Over 300,000 people died last year from the brutalization of the regime.
In the 12 years since the regime took power, 610,000 people have been killed.
In addition to this brutal misery, the recent earthquake ignited the humanitarian crisis with 14.6 million people in need of humanitarian aid.
We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand in solidarity with the Syrian people in their rights and fight for justice.
We stand with the Syrian people in the protection of their human rights.
We call on action. We call for a ceasefire to the war in Syria.
