The conflict in Sudan, particularly in the Darfur region, has resulted in a protracted refugee crisis that has affected millions of people. Since the outbreak of violence in 2003, countless Sudanese have been forced to flee their homes, seeking safety and shelter in neighboring countries and beyond. The refugees have faced a range of challenges, including inadequate access to basic needs such as food, shelter, and healthcare, as well as the risk of violence and exploitation. The international community has made efforts to provide aid and support to those affected, but much more needs to be done to address the root causes of the conflict and ensure the long-term well-being of the refugees.
We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand in solidarity with the refugees in need of support from the global community.
We stand in solidarity with the asylum seekers from Sudan and across the world.
