Sanctions on Russia have been placed by the UK and the US.
While the sanctions are aimed at the decisions of the Russian government, the consequences of these sanctions will negatively affect the most vulnerable members of society.

Women for example will be more likely to lose their jobs under economic sanctions when jobs are being lost.
Workforces are still unequal in most parts of the world so the more likely person to lose their job is a woman who then might not be able to support her family, specifically her children.

This is just one example of an economic sanction that plays a catalyst in a long series of social violence.

Economic sanctions hurt civilians making a more hostile and desperate society.

Find a resolution to the war, economic sanctions are not the answer.
