Constant raids have occurred in refugee camps in the West Bank, killing 8 civilians, including an elderly woman.
Israelis claim that the raids are to find terrorists who are reported to be hiding in the camps.
The raids have cost the lives of innocent people, including children.
With the newly elected far-right these raids are expected to increase.
The already displaced people in refugee camps are now being subjected to even more violence and aggression.
As of 2022, there were 58 refugee camps in Palestine and a total of 1.5 Palestinian refugees live in these camps.
Palestinians are the largest refugee group in the world. They have faced the most adversity.
Now they are entering into a new moment of history with a racist government that seeks to continue a system of dehumanization.
We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand with the protection of refugees in Palestine and across the world.
