Lebanon is in a state of economic, political, and social unrest as protestors take to the street demanding justice and support.
The economic collapse the country now faces is a result of corruption and mismanagement.
Schools are closing and families are unable to afford food.
Additionally, electricity throughout the country is unavailable.

People are angry and are calling for political reform but they are met with brutal police forces.
Unless there is a mediation and call for change these protests could be met with further violence.
We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand with the right to peaceful protest.
For a society of peace and democracy to flourish there must be communication.
