This past week Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was sworn into office. Netanyahu has vowed to increase the construction of Israeli settlements in the West Bank which will lead to the destruction of livelihoods and displace families.
Tensions have grown in the past week when the National Security Minister visited a sacred religious site for both Muslims and Jewish people.
The visit made by Israeli officials has been seen as a provocation for violence. The intense hostility between Israel and Palestine is reaching an all-time high with the continuous fighting and new aggressive policies. Unless there is a clear direction toward peaceful negotiations there will be no end to the violence.
