May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day, is a day to recognize and celebrate the achievements of workers and the labor movement around the world.

It is a day to acknowledge the contributions of workers to society and to call for fair wages, safe working conditions, and the protection of workers’ rights.
One of the key issues that May Day highlights is the need for fair wages, which are essential for workers to support themselves and their families, and to live with dignity.

Unfortunately, many workers across the world continue to face low wages and poor working conditions, which can lead to exploitation, poverty, and inequality.

May Day provides an important opportunity to raise awareness about these issues and to call for greater respect for workers’ rights and fair wages.

We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand in solidarity with the rights of workers across the world.
