In 2017 hundreds of thousands of refugees fled Myramar to Bangladesh escaping brutal violence and abuse.
60% percent of the refugees were children.
Those fleeing Myramar entered a refugee camp of over 300,000 people who had already fled their homes to escape violence.
Today nearly a million Rohingyas are currently living in refugee camps in Bangladesh.
The Rohingya survive on humanitarian assistance for protection, food, water, shelter, and health.
We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand in solidarity with the activists and humanitarian workers helping these refugees.
The Rohingya people must be protected until it is safe for them to return to their homes.
We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand with the protection of asylum seekers.
