Stories of sexual violence are becoming more and more common in Haiti as the country exists in a taste of political turmoil.
The capital of Port au Prince is under gang control and civilians are being subjected to dehumanizing torture.
There is little to no protection provided.
Women and girls are the targets of unimaginable cases of sexual abuse by gangs.
Homes are being burned in front of families.
There is the destruction of the city as it is being undertaken by atrocities.
Due to the blockades in the country, there are few resources to survive.
Many are going days without access to water.
What can be done to assist a country? What kind of intervention can be taken that comes in the form of social welfare and not economic profit?
We stand with Haiti and those who would intervene, support, and advocate for the safety and protection of Haitians.
