Syria has been in a state of emergency for over a decade.
The Syrian refugee crisis recorded over 10 million people displaced.
Now, with the earthquake that has killed thousands and destroyed homes across the country, some will be displaced for the 20th time.
Two million people in Syria lack adequate housing.
800,000 children are living in shelters, most of them now destroyed.
The health care system in Syria was in deterioration. Now it is even more collapsed. Only 59%of hospitals are fully functional.

This recent disaster that has struck the country is an added misery to misery.

If there was not a more crucial time for humanitarian aid to be sent to a people when is there?
How can this type of human suffering go unassisted while billions of dollars are sent to start wars?

We stand with the humans affected by this tragedy and call for international aid to prioritize this crisis.
