President Mr. KC Meets Nairobi City County Governor in Kenya

Thursday, 11 June 2026 – The Office of the Governor of Nairobi received Mr. KC Hum Sappan, President of the Europe Peace Foundation and the Global Peace 2030, who paid a courtesy visit to discuss opportunities for collaboration in sustainable community development and peace-building initiatives. Mr. KC is visiting Kenya as part of his Global Peace 2030 World Tour.

A meeting was held between Mr. KC and Deputy Governor James Njoroge Muchiri. Their discussions focused on strengthening community-based programs that promote social and economic growth, empowering youth through leadership development, skills training, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities, and enhancing women’s participation in economic empowerment, leadership, and decision-making processes.

The meeting also explored strategies for promoting peace, social cohesion, conflict prevention, and community dialogue at both local and national levels. Further deliberations centered on building strategic partnerships with stakeholders, supporting impactful community projects, mobilizing resources, and strengthening capacity-building efforts for grassroots initiatives.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of practical and sustainable solutions that foster inclusivity, shared prosperity, and lasting peace for communities. The Deputy Governor reaffirmed Nairobi City County’s commitment to supporting transformative development and peace initiatives.

President Mr. KC was accompanied by the Head of the Representation Office in Kenya, Mr. Michael Joseph Bole; Deputy Head, Mrs. Zilpha Samoei; Secretary, Mr. Joab Mandela; and Member, Ms. Brenda Odoyo.

As part of his Global Peace 2030 World Tour, Mr. KC will continue his schedule of meetings with senior government officials, organizational leaders, and civil society representatives to promote international cooperation, sustainable development, and the vision of a more peaceful world by 2030.
