Over 60 people have been killed and dozens are in critical condition after a Cyclone struck  Malawi and Mozambique.

Cyclone Freddy left a trail of destruction in southern Africa

This is the second time in a month that this destruction has occurred.

This recent cyclone is one of the strongest cyclones ever recorded in the southern hemisphere.

The destruction has affected the homes of many innocent families-destroying roofs, creating landslides and shattering infrastructures.

Many are in critical condition from falling trees and flash floods.

In these times of disaster and crisis, we must remember to put human rights first.

We at the Europe Peace Foundation stand with the human rights of all people, especially in these times of crisis.
We believe any society of peace must rely on humanitarian assistance.
An emphasis on human aid must always be a priority to sustain a peaceful society.
