Statement by Mr. KC on the Afghanistan – Pakistan Conflict – Call for Peace Talks

Statement

Friday, February 27, 2026 -I am deeply concerned about the ongoing conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan, which has caused numerous deaths and injuries. Any bombings or acts of violence along the border are unacceptable.

I call on Pakistan to cease bombings and exercise restraint, and I urge both nations to come together immediately at the peace table. Violence against civilians is entirely unacceptable.

I offer to mediate peace talks between both countries. As a Global Peace 2030 initiative, I am ready to serve as a neutral mediator for both nations and all conflicting parties. I ask the leaders to give me the opportunity to help bring peace and end this conflict.

The border conflict has persisted for many years, but now is the time for both nations to meet and establish lasting peace.
