Mr. KC Expresses Concern Over Chad–Sudan Border Violence, Urges Peace Talks

Monday, February 23, 2026 – President Mr. Sappan KC expressed deep concern over the recent fighting in the Chad–Sudan border region, particularly in Chad’s town of Tine, where many lives have been lost. The conflict is currently spreading across both sides of the border.

He stressed that all conflicting parties must come to the peace table rather than resort to violence, as fighting only results in fear, destruction, and loss of life. Mr. KC highlighted that no form of violent conflict should be tolerated in Sudan or Chad.

“All parties must choose the path of peace and align with the Global Peace 2030 agenda,” he said, calling for immediate dialogue and reconciliation to prevent further suffering.
