Europe Peace Foundation Urges Protection of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

The Europe Peace Foundation expresses grave concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed and millions displaced amid continued military operations. This week, Italy and Spain deployed naval ships to assist the Global Sumud Flotilla, an international convoy of civilian vessels—including activists and lawmakers—seeking to deliver humanitarian aid and break the blockade of Gaza.

While these efforts reflect acts of solidarity and humanitarian duty, the Europe Peace Foundation emphasizes that sustainable peace requires dialogue, protection of civilians, and unrestricted humanitarian access, not escalation or conflict.
As part of our Europe Peace Plan 2030, we call on European governments and the international community to prioritize safe passage for aid, diplomatic solutions, and long-term strategies to end the suffering of civilians. Together, we can transform urgent interventions into lasting peace.
