Mr. KC’s Statement on Iraq

29 September 2026 – Since 2003, the people of Iraq have endured years of conflict and violence. Today, they deserve lasting peace, stability and a brighter future for their beautiful country.

As the international coalition’s military withdrawal moves forward, I hope this moment opens a new chapter for Iraq and contributes to peace across the region. At the same time, Iraq continues to face violence and the effects of regional tensions. I call on all parties involved in violence to respect the people’s wish for peace and come to the negotiating table. The people must come first. There must be no more conflict or violence.

I call on the international community to support peace in Iraq and respect the interests of the Iraqi people. I look forward to Iraq joining the “Peaceful Nation” path of my Global Peace 2030 initiative. I also hope to visit this beautiful country soon.
