Friday, 12 June 2026 – President and Global Peace 2030 initiator, Mr. KC Hum Sappan, paid a courtesy visit to the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kenya to discuss opportunities and met the Chairman, Hon’ble Senator Moses Kajwang, who is the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee and the Africa Climate Change Caucus in the Senate, as well as other senators and the Chairperson of the Kenya Human Rights and Gender Committee in the Senate.
During the meeting, Mr. KC and the Chairperson discussed various issues, including violence, conflict prevention, and the promotion of lasting peace in Kenya. Mr. KC expressed concern about Kenya’s security situation, human rights issues, and the importance of sustainable peace.

Senators represent nationwide voices, including issues related to peace and security.
Hon. Senator Moses Kajwang affirmed his commitment to table relevant peace-related concerns in the Senate to support the vision of making Kenya a peaceful nation under the Global Peace 2030 initiative.
President Mr. KC was accompanied by the Head of the Representation Office in Kenya, Mr. Michael Joseph Bole; Deputy Head, Mrs. Zilpha Samoei; Secretary, Mr. Joab Mandela; and Member, Ms. Brenda Odoyo.
As part of his Global Peace 2030 World Tour, Mr. KC will continue his schedule of meetings with senior government officials, organizational leaders, and civil society representatives to promote international cooperation, sustainable development, and the vision of a more peaceful world by 2030.
