Congo’s Disarmament Push and Peace with Rwanda
– Statement by Mr. KC
Monday, March 30, 2026 – It is hopeful to see some positive signs as the Democratic Republic of the Congo begins the process of disarmament. This is an essential step toward implementing a peace agreement with Rwanda.
Although both countries have agreed to pursue peace, incidents of violence between them continue to be seen. I sincerely hope that both nations will complete the peace process and ensure that there is no further conflict or violence.
From my side, I always offer my support for mediation and dialogue if it can help bring lasting peace between the two nations.
