The Europe Peace Foundation stands in deep solidarity with the people of Sudan, who continue to endure one of the world’s most devastating humanitarian crises. Since 2023, the conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces has left millions displaced, communities destroyed, and countless lives lost. We cannot remain silent while civilians suffer from famine, violence, and the collapse of essential services. Every day that passes without peace deepens the wounds of a nation that has already given so much to the world.

We call on all parties to immediately cease hostilities and allow unrestricted humanitarian access across Sudan. The international community must unite not in rhetoric, but in action — to deliver food, medicine, and protection to those in need. Peace is not an abstract hope; it is a moral obligation. Sudan’s future depends on our shared humanity and our collective will to stop the suffering and rebuild with dignity.
